Sajid specializes in social research, economic research, policy research, financial research and analysis using a variety of research techniques including face-to-face interviews, online surveys, focus group discussions and participatory research methods.
Sajid's portfolio of research projects include tax incentives studies for ActionAid Bangladesh, survey of social enterprises for British Council Bangladesh, a survey of knowledge, perceptions and attitudes (KAP) among Bangladeshi citizens towards religious extremism for a diplomatic mission in Bangladesh, and several briefer survey-based research assignments for the World Bank, Concern Worldwide, BBC Media Action, Oxfam, and Traidcraft.
Sajid Amit has a BA from Dartmouth College, an MA from the University of London and an MA from Columbia University. Prior to founding TGI, he was a Director and Head of Research at BRAC EPL in Bangladesh, Industry Research Manager at KPMG in India, and an Analyst at Morgan Stanley in New York.
